Andrew was President of the Society of Wildlife Artists (SWLA) from 2004 to 2009. He first exhibited with the society in 1981 and was elected a member in 1983. He also served as secretary for nine years. The first President of the SWLA (in 1964) was Sir Peter Scott, the great conservationist and artist, who encouraged Andrew in his early painting career.
Andrew is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) and has a growing reputation for the uncompromising skill and detail in his etchings.
